Compatible with PC (Windows) or Macintosh. 500 quality tiff format images. High quality images, 300 dpi (average size 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" at 100%). Program allows simple "drop and drag" of images. Convenient browser program that views thumbnails. Search engine that uses keywords to find appropriate images. User friendly help menu to help you learn the streamline and intuitive browser. The browser program allows you to view "thumbnails" of the images so it's easier to choose the one you want. When selected, an information box accompanies the thumbnail and provides "notes." These notes act as an index that may be sorted. For instance, you can search for words such as "advent" or "saint" to find appropriate images—from all three Clip Art volumes. Programs that support OLE (object linking and embedding), such as PageMaker 5.0, allow you to "drag and drop" images directly from the browser into your documents. However, any program that supports the popular tiff format can use these images.
